Reader Question
I have a 1995 Buick Park Avenue . The heater fan runs in, only ,high speed even with the ignition shut off. I pulled the 30 amp A/C fuse under the hood to shut it off. Is there a relay and if so where is it located? The auto parts store shows 2 different relays for the heater fan. Thanks!
Howdy
You probably have a bad blower module , which I believe is outside under the hood in the middle of the firewall on your ca .or at least it is on a Cadillac which is similar. This might be a dealer item only, you might want to visit your local dealer part department and talk to them about it, they will make a print out of the location if you buy the part from them. I think its pretty expensive, so make sure that is the problem before you just buy it and not be able to return it.

Well I have a 1996 Cad Eldorado. Blower motor runs by itself and various times (day and night.)
Replaced the BLOWER MODULE-Did not stop the blower motor from kicking on at different hours!
Then replaced the special RELAY - Thought that would stop it - IT DIDN’T!!!
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY THE AIR & HEAT BLOWER MOTOR KEEPS KICKING ON BY ITSELF??? PUTTING A NEW BLOWER MOTOR AND RELAY IN THE CAR DID NO GOOD! THERE’S GOT TO BE SOME REASON THE BLOWER MOTOR KICKS ON BY ITSELF AT ALL HOURS!!!
A SOLUTION APPRECIATED.

another common problem for the buick ( with only a high speed blower) is the ignition switch.
