Most 1995? and up Honda vehicles require a special power steering fluid than the normal fluid you can buy at just about any convenient store or auto parts house. Until recently the only place I knew you could buy power steering fluid that met Honda standards was from the Honda dealership……and it is expensive.
Now there is an alternative brand on the market and it is cheaper and easiler to come by. GUNK is the manufacturer and they have been making automotive chemicals for many years. Here is a picture of what the bottle looks like.

I don’t know about Gunk, but I do know that most places carry Honda Power Steering fluid - and it’s no more expensive than the other stuff. I don’t know about the year thing, either, cuz I think I’ve always known that Honda vehicles needed it, and my first Honda was an 84 Accord.
