Introduction
2008 Acura RDX proves to be a typical SUV with independent suspension, numerous upgrades, exclusive interior features, and excellent handling, albeit expensive.

Body Styles, Trim Levels, and Options
2008 Acura RDX is available in two trims of 5-Spd AT and 5-Spd AT w/ Technology Package. Options include rearview camera, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, dual-zone automatic climate control, full power accessories, Bluetooth connectivity, and auxiliary input jack.

Powertrains and Performance
2008 Acura RDX offers standard 240hp 2.3-liter I4 turbo engine with five-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. It delivers 17-mpg in city and 22-mpg on highway.

Interior Design and Special Features
Interiors include leather seating with metallic accents, center storage compartment, colored gauges, and symmetrical dash design. Rear seats neither recline nor slide. Cargo space is insufficient and rear seats are uncomfortable.

Safety Features
Standard safety features include antilock brakes with brake assist, front-seat side airbags, stability control, traction control, head-protecting side curtain airbags with rollover sensor, and active front head restraints.

Driving Impressions
Firm suspension and powerful engines with high torque offer firm ride, though not comfortable.
