Trust My Mechanic Limited Use Auto Insurance

Classic Car Insurance

You are probably paying WAY too much for your classic car insurance or limited use auto insurance, and I hope you will take just a minute (that is all it takes) to check the savings that I believe you will find with my favorite classic car insurance quote company.

I love the classics too, but why pay high priced insurance for a car you RARELY drive? If you are like me, your wife is probably upset with paying $800 in insurance for a car you drove (or maybe just started and made it to the end of the driveway) 3 times last year!

TIP: Document your travel time. You probably only drive a few miles a year, so document when, where and how long you drive. Keep this log in a safe place and notify your insurance agent of the results.  You should get a limited use discount.

Store your vehicle safely.  Most people cram their classic in a tiny garage and forget about it. Cars hate to sit still for long periods of time.  Oil, gas, antifreeze etc. all break down over time and can cause damage to other components. It is a good idea to periodically start and drive the vehicle once in awhile to keep things lubricated.

Place jack stand under the car, to take the weight off the tires which helps prevent dry rot.  Use a soft good fitting car cover, and check the inside of the vehicle for rodents, mold or fungus growth periodically. Don't let animals use your car just because you are not.  Consider using a climate controlled storage facility to help protect your investment.  If you do so, notify your insurance agent!
