Hey guys I just got a hell of a deal on a '85 jimmy.  Good body, trans, interior, it runs....but it has a knock at high rpm....107478 miles! $100.

Here is a list of what has been done to it by it's previous owner before got it:

windsheild
back window
steering colomn
intake
carburator (not the right one but it will work)
rims
tires
fuel pump, filter and gauge sending unit

He got tired of messing with it and wanted it gone.  Here is my problem

I need a vaccuum and wiring diagram if at all possible.  I know i should just buy a book, but i don't get paid until next week and I don't have the money to go buy on right now.  ALSO this is a carburated 2.8L V-6, WHAT IS THE FIRING ORDER. is it 123456, that's the way the wires were run when i bought it and it does run, but it is out of time, and missing on one cylinder.  I don't know about the bearing knock though, we haven't quite narrowed it down to a bearing, there are so many things still disconnected and plugged and the AIR ports on the manifolds are open so there is an immence exhaust leak![/b]

hey, here is som information.

it is a 60degree v6
bore is 89.0
stroke  is 76.0
compression ratio is 8.5:1
firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6

Pison clearance is 0.017 - 0.043

Looking at the fan (plugs)
5          6
3          4
1          2

here i have to word this no so tricky.

the tower on the distributer facing the fan is number 1, goto the left 2, left 3,left 4, left 5,left 6, back at 1.

A complete circle.

Send me you fax number again and i will send you vacume chart.

Also, i was thinking about the bearing... i dought that will fix it. If the shaft is pitted, it will were easily.
