For truck drivers, it just keeps getting better year after year. Trucks these days have more towing power and more storage capacity, for both passengers and cargo. Not only that, but they’re now more able to rival in style just like smaller vehicles. Trucks have become all around statements, or power and beauty, and the new Dodge Ram is just another example of this. Not only that, but it started the trend.
Ram was reengineered for 2006, and not many changes have been made since that version. Given a new hydroframe and a standard 4.7 liter V8 engine, it performs competently and smoothly, with quick response and easy maneuvering. Another new option is that it can run with regular gas, or E-85 ethanol.
As for safety, with side curtain airbags and an option for the electronic stability program, the Dodge Ram is one of the safest in its class. It was give the highest rating possible to score by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
