Introduction
2007 Jeep Commander offers powerful drive through its efficient engines. However, inconsistent performance and subdued interiors reduce its popularity among other SUVs.

Body Styles, Trim Levels, and Options
2007 Jeep Commander is available in six trims ranging from Sport 4X2 to Overland 4X4. Options include satellite radio, rear-seat DVD entertainment, and navigation system with backup camera, and Bluetooth connectivity.

Powertrains and Performance
2007 Jeep Commander offers 330hp 5.7-liter V8 engine or 210hp 3.7-liter V6 engine with five-speed automatic transmission and overdrive. It delivers 14 to 16-mpg in city and 18 to 20-mpg on highway.

Interior Design and Special Features
Interiors include comfortable front seats with extremely easy controls placed at strategic positions. Second row seats offer average head positioning while third row seats offer very less legroom. Overall cargo space is insufficient.

Safety Features
Safety measures include standard stability control, antilock disc brakes, side curtain airbags, and power adjustable pedals, which is optional in few models.

Driving Impressions
