2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca Review and Pictures

Austin-1, September 25, 2007

Summary
2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca is a luxury sport-utility that can seat seven passengers. It has four doors.

What is New in 2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca?
Additions include more optional features, new auxiliary jack for connecting portable MP3 players, driver and front-passenger seat memory feature, standard brake assist, and anti-rollover system.

Introduction
Exclusive exterior styling makes 2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca stand out among different SUVs. However, cramped interiors and poor acceleration prove extremely disadvantageous.

Body Styles, Trim Levels, and Options
2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca is available in four trims ranging from 5-Passenger to Limited 7-Passenger. Options include navigation system with rear parking camera, rear-seat DVD entertainment system, heated front seats, rear climate controls, keyless entry, and dual-zone automatic climate control.

Powertrains and Performance
2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca offers standard 245hp 3.0-liter H6 engine with five-speed automatic transmission and overdrive. It delivers 18-mpg in city and 23-mpg on highway.

Interior Design and Special Features
Interiors offer distinct style and elegance with central display screen. However, arrangement of few controls makes it difficult and awkward to operate. Legroom is insufficient for second and third row passengers.

Safety Features
Standard safety features include rollover-sensing program, full-length side curtain airbags, stability control, front-seat side airbags, traction control, and ABS with brake assist.

Driving Impressions
Acceleration is adequate though not quite sporty. Engines are noisy at high speeds. However, rides are quiet on highways.

Pros
Stylish interiors, numerous standard and optional features

Cons
Insufficient legroom, poor performance when fully loaded
