Introduction
2007 Volvo S80 proves to be an excellent luxury sedan with exclusive safety features available at modest prices, although handling dynamics need improvements.

Body Styles, Trim Levels, and Options
2007 Volvo S80 is available in two trims of 3.2 and AWD. Options include adaptive cruise control, speed-sensitive power steering, ventilated front seats, adaptive bi-xenon headlights, adaptive suspension, rain-sensing wipers with heated washer nozzles, and dual-screen rear entertainment system.

Powertrains and Performance
2007 Volvo S80 offers standard 311hp 4.4-liter V8 engine or 235hp 3.2-liter I6 engine with six-speed automatic transmission and overdrive. It delivers 17 to 19-mpg in city and 25 to 28-mpg on highway.

Interior Design and Special Features
Interiors are clean and functional with intuitive controls and supportive front seats. Rear seats are spacious. Cargo space is insufficient.

Safety Features
Standard safety features include front-seat side airbags, antilock disc brakes, pre-tensioning seatbelts, anti-whiplash front head restraints, full-length side curtain airbags, tire-pressure monitoring system, and optional run flat tires, front, and rear parking sensors.

Driving Impressions
Powerful engines offer smooth ride although handling dynamics are not too competent. Tackling corners is not very smooth.
