Super cleaning your windshield involves a thorough and effective cleaning process. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

  1. Gather Supplies: Collect the necessary supplies, including glass cleaner, microfiber towels, a soft sponge or cleaning pad, and a glass polish if needed.
  2. Remove Debris: Begin by removing any loose debris from the windshield. Use a soft brush or your hands to clear away leaves, dust, or any other surface debris.
  3. Rinse the Windshield: Rinse the windshield with water to remove any loose dirt or grime. This step helps prevent scratching during the cleaning process.
  4. Apply Glass Cleaner: Spray a generous amount of high-quality glass cleaner on the windshield. Make sure it is suitable for automotive use and won’t leave streaks.
  5. Scrubbing: Use a soft sponge or cleaning pad to scrub the windshield thoroughly. Pay special attention to areas with bug splatter, bird droppings, or other stubborn stains. Apply gentle pressure to avoid scratching the glass.
  6. Wipe with Microfiber Towel: Wipe the windshield with a clean and dry microfiber towel. Use a lint-free towel to avoid leaving streaks or lint on the glass. Work in circular or straight motions.
  7. Address Stubborn Stains: If there are stubborn stains or marks on the windshield, you can use a specialized glass polish. Apply the polish according to the product instructions and buff the glass until the stains are removed.
  8. Clean Wiper Blades: Clean the wiper blades with a damp cloth to remove any built-up grime. This helps prevent streaking when the wipers are in use.
  9. Interior Cleaning: For a comprehensive cleaning, also clean the interior side of the windshield. Use a glass cleaner designed for interiors and wipe it down with a clean microfiber towel.
  10. Check for Streaks: Inspect the windshield for streaks or spots. If you notice any, reapply glass cleaner and wipe again with a clean, dry microfiber towel until the glass is clear.
  11. Apply Rain Repellent (Optional): If desired, you can apply a rain repellent product to enhance visibility during wet conditions. Follow the product instructions for application.

Regular maintenance and cleaning will keep your windshield in optimal condition and ensure clear visibility while driving.
