The LR3 Land Rover Review and Picture

Austin-1, June 15, 2007

With other big vehicles losing their knowledge of the mud and the hills and being confined to highways, the 2007 Land Rover LR3 is unique in its achievement of being not only comfortable and easy to drive on the road, but also retaining its capabilities for going wild off-road.

The LR3 is secure and comfortable, reminiscent of the Range Rover, with a lack of noticeable vibrations and noises. It includes the latest electronic systems and has a great combination of braking, traction, power and gearing that fit it for any kind of driving. Just turn the knob and the car will ready itself for whatever specific kind of challenge you have for it, snow or mud or rock slide.

The LR3 is roomy, seating up to seven people with the third seat optional. None of that hassle with removing the back seats or just folding them down to load your cargo–these seats fold right into the floor, providing the maximum amount of space with the least amount of bother.

You can get either the V6 or the V8, and this time the V6 comes with more than ever before:

  • leather upholstery
  • power glass sunroof
  • power lumbar adjuster for driver
  • 240 watt stereo with controls on the steering wheel
  • 4.0 liter
  • 240 hp
  • 269 feet of torque

The V8, now:

  • 4.4 liter engine
  • variable cam phasing
  • 300 hp
  • 315 pound feet of torque
  • standard third row and rear seat AC

All the LR3 come with six speed automatic transmission, two speed transfer, and four wheel drive. It also comes with a suspension height adjuster that helps out when towing, with a 7700 pound tow rating.

For off-road enthusiasts, and even for people who don’t care to go beyond the bounds of the highway, the LR3 is powerful, versatile, comfortable vehicle that amazes anew every day.

Cheers,

Fashun Guadarrama.
