A smooth and consistent engine idle is a hallmark of a healthy vehicle. When your engine idles roughly, it can be a sign of underlying issues that need attention. 1. Spark Plug Problems:

Spark plugs play a crucial role in igniting the air-fuel mixture in the engine. When spark plugs become fouled, worn, or damaged, they can misfire, leading to rough idling.

2. Fuel System Issues:

Issues within the fuel system can disrupt the proper fuel-air mixture, causing rough idling. Common problems include clogged fuel injectors, a malfunctioning fuel pump, or a dirty fuel filter.

3. Air Intake Problems:

The engine requires a consistent flow of air to operate smoothly. If there are air intake leaks, a malfunctioning mass airflow sensor (MAF), or a dirty air filter, it can disrupt the air supply and lead to rough idling.

4. Vacuum Leaks:
