Wipers Blow Fuse Immediately

Austin Davis, March 2, 2007September 27, 2014

:

I have a voyager the wiper fuse keeps blowing out  it blows out as
soon as you turn on the wipers on can you help me

Thanks,

Jim

Howdy Jim,

My first guess would be you have a bad wiper motor. You might want to make sure there is nothing in the way of the wiper blades and wiper arms, and they are not in a bind or stuck on anything that would not allow the wiper motor to move them freely.

If you don’t see anything wrong with the wiper arms you can lightly tap on the wiper motor located under the hood with a rubber hammer or block of wood a few times to free up anything that might be stuck inside the motor.

If you still have trouble, the next thing to do is test the wiper motor and the wiper switch inside the vehicle. I kinda think you have a bad wiper motor though.

Blessings,

Austin Davis
